Steam guides / Profile links

One profile. A few ways to find it.

You can search with a SteamID64, a custom profile name or your full Steam Community profile URL. You don’t need to sign in here.

Copy your Steam profile link

Open your profile onSteam Communityin a browser and copy the address. It starts withhttps://steamcommunity.com/profiles/followed by a numeric ID, orhttps://steamcommunity.com/id/followed by your custom name.

A display name is different from a custom URL name. Copying the full address avoids guessing which one to use.

What is SteamID64?

SteamID64 is the long numeric account identifier used in the/profiles/form of a Steam Community URL. Keep all its digits when copying it. A game’s app ID is a different identifier and cannot be used to search for a player.

When you search with a custom profile name, Steam Playtime resolves it and redirects to /profile/<SteamID64>. This gives the profile one canonical address even when it was found through different links.

Which links won’t work?

Store pages, group pages, inventory links and links on other websites aren’t player profile references. Paste the profile’s main address instead. Shorter SteamID formats are not supported by this search.

If a valid link loads a private library, checkprofile and Game details visibility. A valid account ID does not grant access to private games.
