Where did the hours go?

Paste a Steam profile link or ID to see total playtime and the games you return to most. Steam supplies the recorded minutes; this tool displays them as hours.

Make your game details visible

In Steam, open your profile, then Edit Profile and Privacy Settings. Your profile and Game details need to be Public. Check the separate setting that keeps total playtime private, too. Only change these settings if you want that information to be public.

A public display name or avatar does not mean the library is public. When Steam hides the game details, we suppress library statistics and game rows. We also hide all comparison rows if either player’s library is private.

Steam also lets you mark individual games private. Those games may be hidden from public data even when the rest of your library is visible. SeeSteam’s private-games guide.

Why do the totals and game list differ?

Total games and total playtime cover all owned games returned by Steam. The profile table shows up to 100 most-played games with strictly more than 60 minutes played. A game with exactly one hour, an unplayed game or a game outside those 100 can contribute to the summary without appearing in the table.

Table search and sorting apply to those displayed games. An empty most-played list does not prove the account owns no games.

Why might the numbers look old?

Profile data is cached to reduce repeated Steam requests. The content-updated date changes when the stored information changes; it is not a live activity signal. Steam availability and refresh timing can affect when new hours or privacy changes appear.

Missing prices do not hide playtime. Seehow pending catalog prices affect value estimates.

Compare your hours with a friend

Compare two public profilesto see playtime side by side. Each player’s retained comparison list has up to 300 games with more than an hour played. “Shared” means present in both lists; an absent row does not prove someone doesn’t own the game.
